Vice President Joseph Boakai has received Medicine worth 2million from The Board of Directors of Map International for used by GOL

The Board of Directors of Map International has presented to Vice President Joseph N. Boakai medicines worth two million United States Dollars for use by the Government of Liberia in its health programs and the shipment is expected in the country in mid-May, 2012.

According to George Saah, Media Relations Director to Vice President, Map International made the presentation to the Government of Liberia to commemorate the 4 billion dollar mark reached by Map International in the distribution of medicines worldwide.

Chief Development Officer of Map International, Scott Walters who presented the medicines to the Vice President said, Map International was making the donation in support of Governmentís programs to combat the high mortality rate and the tropical disease of ulcer.

Scott Walters said his Organization was accredited by the Government of Liberia in January and that MAP INTERNATIONAL will shortly open offices in Monrovia.
H e said Map Internationalís relationship with Liberia dates back to the 1950s.
