Liberia Gets New Information Minister

Monrovia, Liberia President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has Named Dr. Lawrence Bropleh as Minister of Information, Cultural Affairs & Tourism.

Dr. Broplehís appointment as Information Minister takes immediate effect, pending confirmation by the Liberian Senate.

The President has also named Mr. Eugene Peabody as Deputy Minister of Finance for Administration.  Mr. Peabody replaces Mr. Francis Karpeh, who has been named Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Planning and Economic Affairs.

Meanwhile, the President has appointed Mr. Francis Johnson as Inspector-General of the Foreign Service at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
