President Sirleaf Makes Additional Appointments

Monrovia, Liberia - President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has made more appointments and changes in government: Mrs.Olubanke King Akerele, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Ambassador George Wallace, Advisor to the President on Foreign Affairs.

Cllr. Philip A. Z. Banks, III, Minister of Justice; Cllr. Frances Johnson Morris, Minister of Commerce; Mrs. Pearine Davis-Parkinson; Deputy Minister for Administration, Ministry of State; Mr. Joseph Geebro, Deputy Minister for Social Welfare, Ministry of Health; Vivian J. Cherue, Deputy Minister of Health for Administration, Ministry of Health and Peter Zaizay, Deputy Minister for Administration, Ministry of National Security.

Others appointed by the President, according to an Executive Mansion release are: James D. Hallowanger, Commissioner of Police and Commandant, Police Academy; Darlington George, Commissioner of Police for Operations, Liberia National Police; Charles Kowou Gbawou, Commissioner of Police for Administration; Kabina Komar, Commissioner of Police for Criminal Intelligence Unit; William Mulbah, Commissioner of Police and Deputy Commandant, Police Academy.
