Monrovia, Liberia - President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf says if government succeeds in its quest for national renewal, each of the three branches of government would have succeeded.

Speaking early this week during an interactive forum, the President commended the Governance Commission for organizing the Dialogue and applauded the Liberian Senate for its participation. The President also applauded the Senators for agreeing to stay in session for another month.

The Forum referred to as the ‘Dukor Dialogue’ brought together members of the Cabinet and the Liberian senate. It was intended to strengthen the relationship between the Executive and Legislative Branches of government.

The ‘Dukor Dialogue’, which was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was organized by the Governance Commission (GC) with assistance from Phoenix Consultants, a local public relations company.
