President Sirleaf off to Conakry

Monrovia, Liberia - President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, is in the Guinean Capital, Conakry, on a two-day official visit. The President is being joined by Sierra-Leonean President Tejan Kabbah. The three West African Leaders are expected to discuss sub-regional issues including the revitalization of the Mano River Union.
 
The Presidentís delegation to Guinea includes Planning & Economic Affairs Minister, Dr. Toga McIntosh; Information Minister, Dr. Laurence Bropleh, and the Minister of State for Francophone Affairs, Dr. Edward McClain.

During the Presidentís absence from the country, the Cabinet will administer the affairs of State, under the Chairmanship of Justice Minister Frances Johnson-Morris.

The President returns to the country on Friday.
