President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Set to Deliver Annual Message

Monrovia, Liberia - President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf will on Monday, January 29, deliver her Annual Message to the 2nd Joint Session of the 52nd Legislature. The Presidentís Message according to an Executive Mansion Press Release, quoting an announcement from the Office of the Chief of Protocol of Liberia, will be delivered at the Unity Conference Center in Virginia at 4:00 p.m. 

All persons attending the Message are requested to be seated at 3:50 p.m.

Meanwhile, the office of the Chief of Protocol of the Republic of Liberia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is apologizing to all those usually invited to attend the Annual Message of the President, for not receiving invitations up to this time due to unavoidable circumstances.

An announcement from the office of the Chief of Protocol makes specific reference to the Supreme Court and other members of the Judiciary, the Cabinet and other Government Officials, the Diplomatic Corps, Heads of Non-governmental Organizations, Political Leaders and Former Government Officials.

The Office of the Chief of Protocol is also apologizing to Traditional Leaders, the Liberian, Lebanese, and Indian Business Communities, as well as other business nationals, the Clergy and Religious Leaders, Youth Groups, Senior Citizens, Civil Society Leaders, the Press and others, for the non-receipt of invitations up to this time.

Invitations to the Message and the Reception following the Message are now being dispatched as of now by a special team of distributors.
