President Boakai Accepts Resignation of a member of National Youth Advisory Council

Executive Mansion, Monrovia – President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. has accepted the resignation of Ms. Alphia Faith Kemokai from her position as a Member of the Youth Advisory Council. Ms. Kemokai cited personal reasons for her resignation.

In acknowledging Ms. Kemokai’s service to the Council, President Boakai expressed appreciation for her contributions to national youth engagement and policy dialogue, noting that her efforts in advancing youth participation and civic awareness added value to the work of the Council.

To ensure continuity and effective functioning of the Youth Advisory Council, the President has appointed Ms. Mariama Tuzee Toure as a Member of the Council with immediate effect.

Ms. Toure’s appointment reflects the Administration’s ongoing focus on inclusive youth representation and the important role young leaders play in shaping Liberia’s development agenda.

The President called on stakeholders, partners, and young people across the country to support Ms. Toure as she assumes her responsibilities and contributes to strengthening youth participation in national development. He wished the departing Member very best wishes in her future pursuits.
