The President made the commitment during his tour of the newly furbished Ministry of Information edifice, admonishing heads of government entities to continue to develop infrastructure and human resources that reflect the modernity of the twenty-first century while delivering on the Act that established the institution. 

He lauded the Minister of Information, Honorable Jerolinmek Matthew Piah for the development-oriented mentality at the Ministry and encouraged every head of ministry and agency to engage in initiatives that promote and deliver on government development agenda. 

“Thank you very much for the renovation of the building and thanks to everyone for the maintenance of its facilities. We encourage everyone to do the same,” the President serenaded Minister Piah.

He noted that the greatest tool for the maintenance of developed infrastructure is the advancement of human capital. “When our people’s minds are built, development will thrive unimaginably.” 

The Liberian Leader went on to charge officials of government to be more serviceable to the people they serve while delivering on initiatives that advance development, adding that people are the greatest assets.   

The President was led on the guided tour of the Information Ministry facilities by Information Minister Piah, top management and staff of the Ministry.
